Evil Dead Rise

It has been ten years since we have had an Evil Dead movie. It’s safe to say that this new film Evil Dead Rise was a success as both a horror movie and a continuation of the franchise. At first glance, the film does not look like it extends from the 2013 installment or even the third movie back in 1992. It seemed like a stand-alone film that happens to take place in the same universe. But that’s the thing: Evil Dead Rise initially confirms that it is in the same universe as its predecessors.
